  • Contact details: name, email, phone number, postal/address info (for shipping/returns when applicable).

  • Quote & order details: device models, specs, condition notes, images/video you upload, Order/Quote ID.

  • Payment info: details needed to complete payouts (e.g., ACH or PayPal email). We do not store full bank credentials.

  • Identity verification (when required): government ID, proof of address, or other verification data to prevent fraud.

  • Support communications: emails, messages, call/voicemail content and metadata.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device & usage data: IP address, browser type/version, pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, referring URLs.

  • Cookies & similar tech: for core site functionality, analytics, fraud prevention, and (if enabled) advertising measurement.

Information from third parties

  • Payment processors & payout partners (e.g., PayPal) for confirmation and reconciliation.

  • Shipping carriers & logistics partners for tracking and delivery confirmation.

2) Special note on devices you send us

Before shipping, sign out of accounts, disable “Find My,” and back up/erase your personal data when possible.
When we receive a device, we securely wipe or remove data as part of our intake process. We do not use personal content on devices for any purpose other than data erasure, diagnostics, and verifying condition.

8) Children’s privacy

SellMac is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.

9) International users

Our services are primarily offered in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you consent to processing and storage of your information in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.

10) Third-party links & tools
