About this Apple Watch Apple unveiled the Apple Watch SE 2 A2855 on September 7, 2022. This cellular model is only available in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. This model is nearly identical to its predecessor (Original Apple Watch SE). This model lacks an Always On display, but Apple added features like Activity tracking, high and low heart rate notifications, Emergency SOS, and Crash Detection. Apple also claimed that the S8 processor of this device delivers 20% more performance than the S5 processor. This model uses only aluminum for the casing. It must be connected to an iPhone 8 or later (with iOS16 or later) to use the Internet and perform additional functions.
